P. Devedjian, Minister of Industry, France, as Conference President, closed the conference by thanking the organizers and participants. He provided a comprehensive overview of the conference proceedings and presented the Final Statement, which had been prepared for him to reflect the broad convergence of views expressed at the conference by the vast majority of participants.
