Determination of corrosion and fission product sources in PWR for shielding purpose
Creators

Description
Irradiation fields around PWR primary circuit during shutdown are mainly due to corrosion and fission products. Calculations of the source term for shielding purpose require computer codes. At CEA and EDF, two codes are used : PACTOLE for the corrosion products and PROFIP for the fission products. These codes are described in this paper and results of calculations are compared with experimental data. (author)
