Facile preparation of multiscale graphene-basalt fiber reinforcements and their enhanced mechanical and tribological properties for polyamide 6 composites

  • 1. Shanxi Province Key Laboratory of Functional Nanocomposites, North University of China, Taiyuan, 030051 (China)
  • 2. School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Southwest University, Chongqing, 400715 (China)

Description

Highlights: • Homogeneous graphene was facilely coated on the surface of basalt fibers. • Interfacial adhesive can be improved for the basalt fibers reinforced composites. • Multiscale structure enhanced the mechanical and tribological for the composites. • Provided a facile and effective strategy to improve the performance of composites.
