Scaler/timer for nuclear instrumentation with microprocessor
Description
A Scaler/Timer was developed with programming facilities through a small Keyboard, controlled by the 6502 microprocessor. This equipment is for the use in nuclear instrumentation, teaching or research. The emphasis in our design, was on a reliable versatil and low cost equipment. Also, the equipment allows two modes of operation, i.e. a SCALER and a TIMER mode, both with the possibily of data acquisition in pre-programmed time intervals beside this options, data can be printed with a paralel printer or transmited to a microcomputer. Foi desenvolvido um Scaler/Timer com possibilidade de programacao via teclado, controlado por um microprocessador 6502, para ser usado em laboratorio de instrumentacao nuclear, ensino ou pesquisa. A principal enfase desse projeto foi em fazer um equipamento confiavel, versatil e de baixo custo. Este aparelho permite dois modos de operacao, o modo SCALER e o TIMER. Em ambos os modos pode-se programar o tempo entre as tomadas de dados. Alem dessas funcoes, o aparelho permite a impressao dos dados com uma impressora paralela, bem como a transmissao dos dados para um microcomputador. (autor)Additional details
