Evaluation and database of ko-standardization neutron activation analysis system

Description
It is very important to clear the neutron characteristics of the irradiation field accurately to use the ko standardization neutron activation analysis method. The irradiation parameter of JRR-4 was measured. Au, Zr, and Al used for the parameter measurement in the ko method were irradiated and the radioactivity of Al-28, Au-198, Zr-95, and Zr-97 was measured. When the control rod was positioned in the operating time of six hours for the output adjustment, the change of the neutron flux that exceeded 10% was observed. Therefore, it has been understood that the determination of irradiation parameter that used the monitor whenever irradiating it is necessary. (H. Katsuta)
