Cross sections of radiative capture of 0.5-2.2 MeV neutrons for ruthenium-102, 104 and cerium-140, 142 isotopes

Description

Radiative neutron capture cross sections of stable isotopes of ruthenium-102, 104 and cerium-140, 142 have been measured by activation method at energy 0.5-2.2 MeV. Neutrons were produced by means of the 3H(p,n)3He reaction, using Van de Graaff accelerator. Normalization of cross sections have been performed on base of 197Au(n, γ)198Au reaction. The total uncertainty of the results was typically ±(8-15)%. 8 refs.; 2 figs.; 3 tabs
