Description

Power flow to the ASDEX divertor plates is calculated from infared measurements of time- and space-revolved surface temperatures. Besides a discussion of the calculational method, the paper gives power flow results for ohmically and neutral beam (NI)-heated discharges. Moreover, a first discussion of power flow during disruptions and edge-localized modes (ELMs) in H-mode discharges is includes. (author). 10 refs.; 8 figs.; 2 tabs
