The development of a high voltage long-pulse stable power supply for the MNI-1U neutral beam injector

  • 1. Southwest Inst. of Physics, Leshan, SC (China)

Description

A high-power long-pulse high-voltage stable power supply (PS) for the MNI-1U neutral beam injector is described. Specifications of the circuit are as follows: output pulse voltage 50 kV, pulse current 30A, pulse width 50 ms, risetime and fall time of the voltage less than 25 μs, fluctuation of the pulse flattop less than 0.5%, and regulation response time of the pulse voltage less than 30 μs. When it is used as a DC high voltage stable voltage PS or stable current PS, the output voltage ranges from 1 to 80 kV, the current from 0.5 to 5A, and the fluctuation of the output voltage or current is less than 0.1%
