Sizewell B vibration monitoring

In 1993, NNC tendered against international competition for a contract to carry out vibration monitoring of pipework, constructed to ASME standards, during commissioning of the Sizewell B Nuclear Power Station, England. Some plant features -both novel and established designs - suffered from teething problems which were sorted out at the commissioning stage. In addition to installing and maintaining a major vibration monitoring system on the plant, NNC undertook a wide range of other instrumentation, measurement and analysis tasks, helping to provide data and solutions for several deficiencies ober a two-year period.
