Investigation of multiple ionization of Krypton induced by short laser pulses
Creators
Description
Theoretical investigation of the formation of up to quadruply charged Kr ions produced by both 50 ps at 1064 nm and 135 fs at 800 nm in the intensity ranges of 1013-1014 and 1013-1015 W cm-2, respectively, is presented using a numerical model of laser induced ionization. The model includes direct and step-wise multiphoton ionization in addition to Coulumb effects. The results showed a reasonable agreement with the two sets of the examined experimental data
