Description

In Facing challenge of maximized utilization of the RSG-GAS, its is required to increase the reliability of the reactor operation. One aspect of research reactor operation reliability is the capability of the regulating rod to accommodate disturbances and on-operation sample insertion. Upon a fixed reactivity worth, the performances could be improved by speeding-up its driving speed . The optimal speed of control rod were carried out by means of EURIKA-2 computer code. The code solves neutronic and thermal hydraulics related problems in the water cooled reactor. Using the reactivity insertions to the RSG-GAS as input in the simulated operation, the code generates the response of the reactor. The optimal speed of the RSG-GAS regulating rod is found to be times of the existing speed
