Description
Using recently obtained one loop amplitudes for five-parton subprocesses via helicity techniques, finite higher order corrections (K factors) are determined. The contributions of bar qq→γγg and gq→γγq to bar pp→γ+γ+X (Fermilab Tevatron) and pp→γ+γ+X (CERN LHC) are considered. From the contributions of six-parton subprocesses those with the sixth parton collinear or soft are accounted for; thus the totality of the loop terms and of the six-parton terms involving distributions is taken into account. Proper acceptance cuts are introduced. In general, K factors well exceed unity. copyright 1996 The American Physical Society
