Studies of final state interactions with Glauber approximation

  • 1. Illinois Univ., Urbana, IL (United States). Dept. of Physics

Description

The Glauber approximation to estimate the effects of final state interactions on the inclusive scattering of high energy electrons by nuclei is reviewed. The interesting roles of the spectral function of nucleons in nuclei, the spatial correlations among nucleons and the internal quark structure of nucleons are discussed. (orig.)
