Neutralization and oxidation of landfill gas

Description
Mitigation of landfill gas is essential for both: local community and global perspective due to odours, air pollution and greenhouse gas production. In this paper a method for methane concentration mitigation based on the microbiology oxidation of methane from anaerobic zone in landfill soils is described. An example for landfill gas neutralization, performed at Sukhodol landfill (near Sofia) is also given
