Description
Previously many research groups have modelled the magnetic response for ideal superconductor samples, but recently Brandt has suggested a method of numerical calculations for a realistic type II superconductor with finite dimensions. These numerical calculations were used to compute the theoretical dynamic magnetic response of a melt-textured (solid-liquid melt growth) YBa2Cu3O6+δ sample. The results were compared with actual magnetization data and it was found that such method works well for samples of high-temperature superconductors with finite dimensions. (author)
