The Hartree-Fock theory for Coulomb systems

Description

For neutral atoms and molecules and positive ions and radicals, we prove the existence of solutions of the Hartree-Fock equations which minimize the Hartree-Fock energy. We establish some properties of the solutions including exponential falloff. (orig.)

Fuer neutrale Atome, positive Ionen und Radikale wird die Existenz von Loesungen der Hartree-Fock-Gleichungen bewiesen, die die Hartree-Fock-Energie minimalisieren. Einige Eigenschaften dieser Loesungen einschliesslich des exponentiellen Abfalls werden festgelegt. (orig.)
