Under the roof of the Federal German Government programme 'Research and development for the promotion of public health', the Federal Ministry of Research and Technology, (BMFT), is supporting projects relating to preventive medicine, diagnostics, therapy, and rehabilitation for the promotion of public health. The report in hand presents proposals for research work in significant areas of medical technology, in this case NMR imaging, with regard to health economics. (TRV)

Abstract (German)

Im Rahmen des Foerderprogramms der Bundesregierung 'Forschung und Entwicklung im Dienste der Gesundheit' foerdert das Bundesministerium fuer Forschung und Technologie (BMFT) Vorhaben zur Praevention, Diagnose, Therapie und Rehabilitation von Krankheiten mit der Zielsetzung, zu einer Verbesserung des Gesundheitszustandes der Bevoelkerung beizutragen. Der vorliegende Bericht gibt eine Anregung zur Diskussion um gesundheitsoekonomische Forschungsansaetze bei einer medizinischen Grosstechnologie am Beispiel der Kernspintomographie. (TRV)
