The application of filter device in centrifugal cascade

Description

Powder affects the separation efficiency of cascades and may bring certain nuclear criticality risks. In order to reduce the amount of powder entering the cascade, a filter device is installed on the cascade. Based on the distribution characteristics of the cascaded internal pressure field, the filtering effects and pressure changes of the filtering nodes in different process nodes are analyzed and simulated, and the parameters such as the installation node and pressure drop of the filtering device are determined. After the filter has been running for a period of time, the filter unit is disassembled and inspected and measured to estimate the powder content of the different process nodes. (authors)
