Monitor and control device for nuclear reactor

Description

Purpose: To perform convenient and effective monitoring by determining the positional coordinates of the fuel assembly in the reactor core designated based on the signal inputted from switch by coordinate operation section. Constitution: When a control rod selection switch is depressed, the selected switch is lighted-up showing that the switch is selected. Simultaneously, the coordinate position for the selected control rod is displayed on the control rod coordinate display device. When the control rod is thus selected, one of the fuel assemblies in the periphery of the control rod selected by the fuel assembly designation switch is designated. The position for the fuel assembly is detected based on these signal and axial power distribution for the fuel assemblies is calculated in the processor. In addition, the control rod insertion and extraction operation switch is a handle type means which is adapted to extract and insert the control rods designated by the selection switch.
