The title study concerns an analysis of the organization of the market, market behavior and performance in ten network sectors in different countries: water in the United Kingdom (UK), France and the USA; railway and bus transport in UK, Sweden and France, waste and telecom and cable in UK, Sweden and USA; postal services in Sweden, New Zealand and Germany; electricity in UK, Germany and Sweden; natural gas and airports in UK, Germany and USA. The purpose of the study is to learn from foreign countries

Een overzicht wordt gegeven van de belangrijkste aandachtsgebieden waarop Nederland van het buitenland kan leren. Hiertoe is een systematisch-vergelijkende analyse uitgevoerd van de marktordening, het marktgedrag en de performance in tien netwerksectoren in het buitenland. De leerervaringen worden gegenereerd op basis van de bevindingen in tien netwerksectoren: spoorvervoer, busvervoer, luchthavens, gas, elektriciteit, drinkwater, kabel, telecom, post en afval. Binnen elk van deze netwerksectoren zijn drie landen geselecteerd die aan een analyse zijn onderworpen
