Description
The paper presents numerical and experimental studies of the resonant relativistic BWO. By using reflections of the operating TM01 wave from edges of the electrodynamic system, optimum conditions for electron beam interaction with both (-1st) and fundamental harmonics of the wave are achieved. In experiment, 5 GW, 3.6 GHz microwave pulses with 30 % power efficiency were produced
