Deep pionic bound states in momentum space
Creators
Description
Deeply bound pionic states we studied in momentum space using a microscopically constructed optical potential which has built-in energy dependence and natural finite range effects. We solve the momentum space relativistic Schroedinger equation for the complex energies and wave functions for atomic and nuclear-like states. Our results show that the is state of π - 208Pb atom is 4% more deeply bound and 20% broader than Toki's calculation
