The design of gamma-ray spectroscopy analysis software written on C#

Description
It introduces a kind of software of gamma-ray spectrometry analysis, which is written on C#. The software establishes database tables by utilizing the Microsoft Access 2007 to store nuclide information, energy calibration parameter, efficiency calibration parameters, etc. It is designed with interface program for USB communication, which is able to exchange data with digital gamma ray spectrometer. After getting spectrum data through the interface program from spectrometer, the software makes it possible to process data with a series of measures such as smoothing, automatic peak-seeking, peak area calculating, activity calculating, spectrum lines display, etc. Finally, it presents radioactive activity, energy resolution, etc. (authors)
