Description
One of the first antitumor drugs -- sarcolysine [4-bis(2-chloroethyl)-aminophenylalanine, mixture of isomers] and its L-isomer, melfalan, have been widely used clinically up to this time. A number of researchers have used various methods to study the pharmocokinetics of the drug in rats, mice, rabbits, dogs, monkeys, and humans. The aim of the present investigation was to study the complex of kinetic parameters of sarcolysine in rats in the case of various modes of administration and doses. The studies were conducted on noninbred white rats using [14C]sarcolysine. 12 refs., 2 figs., 2 tabs
