The paper presents the results of a study of the effect of presowing gamma irradiation in different doses on the functioning of antioxidant enzymes in maize and pea plants. It has been established that the control samples of these plants have different protective potentials and the presowing gamma irradiation affects the activity of antioxidant enzymes in different ways.
