Description
This paper discusses an evaluation of cellular retention mechanisms of the perfusion agent Tc-99m MIBI. The authors equilibrated cultured chick heart cells in solution containing Tc-99m MIBI. Subsequent rapid collapse of mitochondrial and sarcolemmal membrane potentials by addition of the protonophores, CCCP (5 μM) or DNP (1 mM), is described. Data indications are presented
