Tests for weak decays of charmed particle candidates
Creators
- 1. Fermi National Accelerator Lab., Batavia, Ill. (USA)
Description
Several tests are suggested for weak decays of the postulated 'charmed' particles at 1.87 GeV/c2. Foremost among these is the demonstrations of parity violation, which may soon be possible. The remaining tests, consisting of semileptonic decays, apparent strangeness violations, and lifetimes may also be possible in the foreseeable future. (U.K.)
