Formation of mixed condensed clusters of protactinium with Gd2Cl3
Description
233Pa behaviour during Gd2Cl3 formation at electrolysis of GdCl3 melt is studied. Pa is shown to form with Gd2Cl3 mixed condensed clusters with crystallization coefficient equal to 3.4. It is determined that in An in contrast to Ln cocrystallization coefficient with Gd2Cl3 increases with growth of ion radius. This phenomenon is explained by occurrence of f-orbital in formation of chemical bounds. 12 refs., 2 tabs
