Light reflection in two-phase metal - dielectric system

Description
Reflection spectra of fine-dispersed mixtures of W+LiNbO3 having different percent contents of components were investigated. It is shown that at W concentrations in the range from 20 to 80 vol.% the specimens possess metal conductivity and simultaneously the reflection spectrum characteristic of the dielectric phase. The effect is explained from the viewpoint of the flow theory
