Use of accelerators in some applications of interdisciplinary interest

Description

In this talk we present a short review of the methodology followed from the applications of small accelerator nuclear techniques in supporting interdisciplinary research and in giving solution to multiple industrial demands. Specifically, we present the potentiality of these methods through the use of nuclear reactions in sample characterization and, besides, in a brief discussion, through the analysis derived from the production of characteristic X-rays induced with charged particles; an illustrative example is presented in each case.
