Description
Complexation of lanthanum with humic acid has been studied using tracer technique. Commercially available humic acid was characterised for its functional groups, elemental composition and ionisable proton sites. Lanthanum equivalent of the humic acid was obtained by carrying out precipitation of the neutral complex of lanthanum with humic acid and estimating by gamma ray spectrometry. (author)
