Properties of n-PbTe films prepared by explosive evaporation in a closed volume

Description

Results of an experimental investigation of the properties of PbTe films obtained by an explosive vaporization of the substance inside a closed crucible are presented where conditions were provided for the deposition of the substance upon the substrate only. Given are the dependences of the concentration and the mobility of electrons, of the thermal power coefficient and of the relative thickness of the films upon the temperature of condensation. Investigations have shown that the PbTe films obtained at 320+-20 deg C exhibit the same dependences of the coefficient of thermal power, of the Hall factor and of the electric conductivity upon the specimen temperature as the same dependences for massive monocrystals. Films obtained at optimum condensation temperature feature a high stability of parameters
