Engineering challenges in ferrite for use in CW high power circulators at 350-700 MHz
Description
High Power Circulators has become an indispensable component for High Power RF systems. A 100-500 KW, CW power circulators are required for CW RF systems in the frequency ranges of 350 and 700 MHz for ADS applications. Ferrites are the critical components in Circulators, as all losses come from it. This paper describes design and selection issues of Ferrite components for use in Circulators. Prototype large size ferrite disk development at RRCAT is also presented. (author)
