Alzheimer's disease. Diagnostic algorithm based on T1-weighted MRI images

Description
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is considered a transitional stage to early stages of Alzheimer's disease. In these stages of the disease, a reliable method for diagnosis is important. The South Korean research group developed a diagnostic algorithm for automatic brain segmentation and classification of 3 D T1-weighted MRI images based on Deep Learning (DL).

Leichte kognitive Störungen (MCI – Mild Cognitive Impairment) gelten als Übergangsstadium zu frühen Stadien der Alzheimer-Krankheit. In diesen Krankheits-Stadien ist eine zuverlässige Methode zur Diagnosestellung wichtig.
