Electric filter circuits for pulse shaping of nuclear radiation detectors
Description
This invention presents a circuit arrangement which is based on the simultaneous switchover of as few as four components for the simultaneous occurence of the unipolar pulse maximum and the zero transition of the bipolar pulse. In addition, high pulse symmetry and signal-to-noise ratio can be produced. The resulting pulse width and, consequently, the resolution time of bipolar signals are considerably less than those for signals obtained by CR differentiation. (A.L.)
