Description

A discussion is made of various models for describing the effect of the gluon field in meson-meson scattering - considered as a (qq)(qq) system. These models concentrate on the gluon field overlap factor (GFOF), which is treated successively (a) as a constant, (b) as a phenomenological function of the quark coordinates, (c) in terms of flux-tubes and (d) in terms of Monte Carlo lattice calculations.
