A study on abnormal distribution of some elements at meridian acupoints by PIXE

Description

Using external proton beam induced X-ray emission (PIXE) technique, the elemental concentrations in the structures of connective tissue co related to acupoints were determined. experiments show that elements Ca, P, K, Zn, etc are abundantly presented at the location corresponding to acupoints
