A sampling device of Hanging metal sheet for HLLW storage tanks

Description
Hanging piece with the same material and technical condition as the high level liquid waste (HLLW) storage tank body is usually made and dipped into HLLW before the tanks put into operation. The hanging piece is then regularly retrieved and analyzed so as the corrosion can be checked to assess the safety of the tanks in operation. Based on the conditions of the HLLW storage tanks in a plant, a sampling device hanging metal sheet is designed, which is consist of radiation shielding and monitoring system, hanging metal sheet hoisting system, video system and cleaning system. The sampling operation by the hanging metal sheet has been successfully demonstrated and implemented on the site. According to the results of radiation monitoring in the process of sampling, radiation protection measures are proved to be feasible and high efficient and the designed aim and requirements of the sampling device are realized.
