Unusual burst of OH maser radiation in the source VY CMa
Description
Results of observations of the source VY CMa, made from May 1983 to April 1985 with the RATAT-600 radiotelescope with 2'.6x45'x5.4 km/s resolution in the main lines of the OH maser emission 1665 and 1667 MHz are described. In February - March 1985 the burst of OH maser emission occured, which was accompanied by the symmetrical satellite details and the strong flux variation of the main component of emission profile. The probable geometry of maser emission region is discussed
