Moessbauer spectroscopy
Description
The basic physical principle of the Moessbauer effect is explained and the scientific discipline based on it, the Moessbauer spectroscopy, is described. Practical applications of the method are demonstrated by the study into the composition of lunar minerals and by the investigation of magnetic splitting changes in the spectra of magnetic alloys.
