Quasielastic knockout of deuterons in the (p, pd) reaction on the 1p-shell nuclei at 670 MeV

Description

Problem of excited clusters (EC) in nucleus ground state is considered. Wave function of A nucleus is taken according to translation invariant model of shells (IIMS) for the A → B+x channel. The purpose of the paper is to show that relative EC contribution to quasielactic knock-out cross section is determined that fact, that binding energy in the A → B+x chan-nel is higher than in the A → B+x channel by cluster excitation energy value. With provission for distortions in a strong absorption model it is possible to correctly reproduce shape and intensity of excitation spectra of resuidual mnuclei in the 6Li(p, pd)4He and 12C(p,pd)10B reactions. It follows from excitation spectra calculations that eikonal and plane-wave approximations lead to similar, from the point of view of form, calculated curves which are hio.her by an order than expetrimental data
