Tilted shear-free axially symmetric fluids in f(R) gravity

  • 1. University of the Punjab, Department of Mathematics (Pakistan)

Description

Some physical properties of the irrotational axially symmetric fluid distributions, which is evolving along geodesics, are studied in this work. With shear-free conditions, the effects of f(R) gravity are analyzed for the case of non-tilted and tilted observers in the dynamics of relativistic system. For the comoving congruence of observers, the purely electric Weyl tensor indicates that no gravitational radiation is produced during the evolution of the system. Though, the case is quite different for tilted congruences.
