An ether drift experiment based on the Moessbauer effect
Creators
Description
A seeming frequency shift between a γ ray source and a resonance absorber at opposite high-speed rotor at different rotation speeds of rotor is measured. The measurement results taking into account the characteristic error can prove that there is no frequence shift. While interpreting the results from the viewpoint of classical assumptions of ether drift it is shown that the velocity of any uniform ether drift through the Earth parallel to the equatorial plane does not exceed 1.6+-2.8 m/s
