Description

The fluctuations and dynamic characteristics of an Nd:YAG monolithic ring laser with a nonplanar configuration of the cavity placed in a magnetic field were investigated experimentally and theoretically. A vector model of a solid-state ring laser was developed. It takes into account the characteristic features of the interaction of elliptically polarised counterpropagating waves in an anisotropic cavity and is consistent with experimental results. (lasers)
