Objectives of the Geologic Review Group are to study the long-term stability of rock units for commercial radioactive waste disposal, and to review all plans of the National Wastes Terminal Storage program. At this meeting in New Orleans, the Gulf coast Salt dome project and the impending reorganization of the office of Waste Isolation are discussed
