Space propulsion system for terrestrial electricity

Description
The concept of the gaseous fuel reactor is briefly examined. Still in the fundamental research stage, the concept is of interest as a non-proliferation alternative nuclear system. In a mock-up reactor at Los Alamos tests are in progress using uranium hexafluoride gas. (U.K.)
