Description
Trace amount of 152,154Eu has been separated from macro and trace levels of caesium. A high separation factor has been achieved when 0.01% HDEHP and 10-5 M HCl are used as organic and aqueous phase respectively. The trace europium was successfully back extracted into HCl, ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and diethylenetriaminpentaacetic acid (DTPA). (author)
