Imaging of myeloma bone disease--Implications for staging, prognosis and follow-up

Among all imaging modalities, magnetic resonance imaging provides the most useful information about the accurate staging of solitary bone plasmacytomas, the prediction of progression of asymptomatic multiple myeloma and the prognosis of symptomatic multiple myeloma.
