Determination of rare earths and rare elements with oxalate by an amperometric indicator
Description
Biamperometric technique using two stationary platinum electrodes at constant applied voltage has been used to estimate rare earths La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy and few rare elements, Sc, Ti, Zr, Hf and Th with oxalate in the presence of small amounts of cupric ammonia complexes as indicator. The pH at which rare earths and rare elements were determined was between 10 to 11. The percentage error was observed within 1.0%. (author)
