The inverse mean field method and solitons in nuclear physics
Description
A new method, similar to the inverse scattering method, is proposed to determine the unknown nuclear potential using the known energy levels of bound states. The inverse mean field method relates to soliton solutions of field equations. Preliminary results and possible applications of the new methods are presented. (D.Gy.)
